Kyle ‘Nicholas’ Gadke – Chicago, IL
C.E.O. Spirit FX, Head Choreographer
Kyle is the Owner of Spirit FX, LLC. He, along with his staff provides innovative choreography and other cheerleading services to over 500 teams a year across the World. Spirit FX’s lists of accomplishments over the years is unstoppable. Numerous top finishes at USASF Worlds, and Champions crowned at The Summit and D2 Summit, NCA College Nationals and numerous major events across the country. In 2014, Kyle was nominated, and selected runner up, for the USASF Choreographer of the Year.
Kyle has been in the cheerleading industry for 15 years at various gyms around the Midwest in many different roles. This is his 13th year as a choreographer and 12th year as a judge. He coached at Platinum Athletics in the Saint Louis, MO area where he led his teams to numerous accomplishments including NUMEROUS Full Paid Bids to Worlds and Summit Finalists. Kyle hung up his coaching shoes in 2017 to focus on the growth of Spirit FX. Kyle is also USASF safety certified levels 1-6 in stunts, tumbling and baskets.
As an athlete, Kyle cheered in High School, Allstar and College giving him a vast background and understanding in all areas of cheerleading. Kyle graduated from Lindenwood University in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration & Marketing and a Minor in Sports Psychology. While at Lindenwood, Kyle was a part of the Nationally ranked Coed Cheerleading team and competed at the NCA College National Competition in Daytona Beach, FL, leading the team as a captain 2007-2009 and to a 2nd place finish in 2007. While in college, he cheered at several international programs in the Chicago area – all receiving bids to the USASF Cheerleading Worlds.
Kyle is also a Senior Regional Accounts Manager for GK Elite Sportswear, where he consistently dominates his market since his start there in 2010.
Furthermore, Kyle is a Head Judge for Champion Spirit Group, AAU and Midwest Cheer and Dance Association. Kyle was named one of the industry’s “Top 35, Under 35” in 2014.
Chris grew up in Seattle, WA and started as an athlete of Galaxy Cheer Allstars where he also became a coach. He continued his cheerleading career as a college athlete with a cheerleading scholarship to Central Washington University. He then moved on to coach and choreograph at OC Allstars located in Santa Margarita, California as well as Cheerforce Allstars. Chris then spent a large part of his coaching career as the Program Director and Choreographer for Vegas Cheer Authority in Las Vegas, NV. Here he had the opportunity to choreograph all 18 teams in the program where he received numerous choreography awards including his teams qualifying for the prestigious Worlds and The Summit Competitions. Chris now resides in Denver, CO as a Head Coach and Program Choreographer for Cheer Central Suns. Chris has worked coast to coach in the United States, as well as Canada, and has experience as an Instructor for Power Athletics in Portland, OR as well as being credentialed as a judge for GSSA, Aloha Productions and Nfinity Challenge. He also has been credentialed as a USASF Safety certified judge.
Derek is 32 years old and from Dallas, TX. Not far from there, he grew up in Arlington cheering for the prestigious Spirit of Texas. Derek won multiple NCA titles and Best Cheerleader accolades that set him apart as a nationally known athlete before finishing High School. He knew there was a place in this business and straight out of High School he began to work as a choreographer.
Derek has worked for and choreographed innovative award winning routines for some of the best programs in the country such as Stingray Allstars, Cheer Savannah, ICE, Cheer Athletes, ECE, Express Cheer, Twist and Shout, The Pride of Texas, ACX, Pittsburgh Pride and many others. Taking pride in each job, he feels that these programs have all been stepping stones or “courses” like one might go to school for, or if you will, that have made him the choreographer he is today.
Along with these come High School programs distinguished by their routines done by Derek. Derek has worked with many High School teams across the country, including the talented Illinois programs. Derek has also worked with NCA College Dynasty’s such as the University of Central Oklahoma, Stephen F. Austin University, Navarro and USC.
Derek joined the Cheer Athletics family in 2003 & cheered on Cheetahs, their open Coed Worlds team for 2 years. In 2005 he joined the Cheer Athletics coaching staff. In his first two seasons, he won 6 NCA Titles along with taking home his first World’s Globe in the International All Girl division, Cheer Athletics Fiercekatz. Derek also competed and won worlds in 2008 on Pumas (International Open Coed).
Derek’s passion for this sport has led him many places and taught him many things. Hoping to continue on this great journey, he is excited to encounter with any and all that wish to be the best of the best.
Patrick Williams – Chicago, IL
Head Choreographer and Head Skills Instructor
Patrick is currently the owner of Reign Athletics in the Chicago, IL area. Patrick cheered on International Coed teams at ICE Athletics, Illinois Cheer Company and Xtreme Cheer and Dance Force in which he attended Worlds with them. Patrick cheered allstars for Cheer LegendZ PumaZ in 2006-2007 where he attended Worlds. He also cheered at Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, MO on their Large Coed Division II team as well as University of Illinois at Chicago.
Patrick does choreography and Skills Camps for teams all across the country. His passion is working with kids and sharing his passion with them.
Gino is from Youngstown, OH where has been involved in competitive cheer for 9 years. He has cheered for American Elite on their Medium Coed as well as been a member of Pitsburgh Superstars International Coed 5 team for three seasons. Gino currently coaches at NCT Allstars in New Castle, PA. His choreography receives many awards troughout the season such as innovative choreography, best dance, best pyramid, best stunts, just to name a few. Many of his teams have qualified for Bids to the Summit as well as US Finals. Gino is AACCA Safety certified as well as credentialed for levels 1-5 from the USASF. He is also a Senior Safety certified judge for the 2015 season which makes him knowledgeable in legalities.
Justin Franklin – South Carolina
Justin C Franklin is from a small town in South Carolina, USA. Growing up Justin did gymnastics which eventually led him to Allstar Cheerleading. After four successful years as an Allstar at the high school age level & graduating, Justin went on to the University of Louisville to study graphic design. During his years spent at U of L, Justin was a member of Gym Tyme Allstars & won three consecutive World Championships in the IOC5 division, 2006-2008; a Worlds first! He also won two back to back grand national championships in Daytona Beach, FL at the NCA College Nationals in 2006 & 2007, as well as back to back NCA Allstar Nationals in Dallas, TX in 2005 & 2006 for Open Coed 6, the following year, 2007 this time in the IOC5 division, another 1st! Since then Justin traveled back home to South Carolina & began to coach for his former Allstar gym, ACX Jags. Justin has choreographed many award winning routines in Collegiate, High School & Allstar competitions. Innovative Choreography award 2013 NCA Allstar Nationals, best dance 2013 Allstar Challenge & has even been selected to coach as a guest visitor for Camp Woodward Gymnastics & Cheer Camps. His work as a coach goes on and on from some of the biggest and best competitions around. He is currently traveling around choreographing routines, teaching stunt & tumble clinics, judging for Jam Brands & enjoying spreading his knowledge to kids & coaches all over! Recently Justin spent two months in Australia spreading his expertise in the industry.
Kendall Morgan – Denver, CO
Kendall has quite the resume when it comes to cheerleading as both a coach and as an athlete. Kendall’s cheer background consists of cheering Allstars for the Atlanta Jayhawks 2002-2005, Georgia Allstars 2005-2007, Gymtyme Allstars 2007-2009 and The Stingray Allstars from 2010-2012. Kendall also cheered at the prestigious University of Louisville from 2007-2009, one of the most competitive and talented cheerleading schools in the country.
Kendall was a Lay Coach for Duluth High School and Mountain View High School in the talented High School State of Georgia. Kendall currently lives in the Denver, CO area and is a gym director for Cheer Central Suns Allstars where he is also cheering on their International Coed Level 5 Worlds team.
Cole Campbell – DESTIN, FL
Cole started his cheerleading career cheering at Georgia Allstars in 2003. After his cheering days ended, he opened and owned C4 Longhorns in Dallas, GA for 10 years, accumulating 278 National Championships, 20+ Cheersport Nations, 4 Worlds teams (Small Senior Coed) and numerous Summit Finalists. Cole has over 12 years of choreography experience, being one of the countries top pyramid and stunt specialists. His resume has landed him at programs such as Platinum Athletics, Pro Athletics, Star Athletics, Georgia Allstars, USA Wildcats and Ultimate Athletics.
Daquan Thompson – Philadelphia, PA
Daquan has an extensive background in dance and has been trained in ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop techniques from the age of 6 and began gymnastics training at the age of 9. He was introduced to cheer when attending High School at the Girard Academic Music Program (G.A.M.P.) where he studied Dance and Musical Theatre. While attending the University of the Arts as a Dance Major, Daquan was also the Coach and choreographer of G.A.M.P.’s cheer squad earning them several Philadelphia Public League Cheer Championships. Since 2004, they have not placed lower then 2nd place under his instruction. Daquan has worked and trained with several dance contemporary companies such as Koresh Dance Company, Philadanco, Eleone Dance Theatre, Dance Theater X, and Elisa Monte Dance Company. He has also had extensive training at The Alvin Ailey School in New York City. He has been able to dance/ choreograph, and/or work with several recording artists, and perform for 4 years with Legends in Concert. While pursuing his dance career, he co-founded Dynasty Spirit Elite All Stars Inc. in 2009. His gym has earned countless National titles and has sent multiple teams to the USASF Dance worlds since 2014. His choreography has earned several Summit bids, Worlds bids, and won multiple U.S. Finals Overall titles for his own program as well as others. His choreography receives many awards throughout the season such as innovative choreography, best dance, best pyramid, best stunts, just to name a few. He has had the honor to compete at the Cheerleading Worlds with State All Stars, Cheer Tyme, and New Jersey Spirit Explosion and several years at the Dance Worlds with his own Program Dynasty Spirit Elite All Stars.
Donnie has been in the competitive cheer industry for almost 20yrs. Growing up he was always driven to be the best in baseball, basketball, football, & soccer. After high school this drive is what’s pushed his creative edge in all facets of the cheer industry. From training concepts, progression drills, unique lifts/tricks, or holding himself & those around him to a higher standard.
Starting out at All Star Rebels in Melbourne FL one of the first “all star” gyms in the country & they were known for creative choreography. During that time he was teaching skill based camps with COA. This brought his talents to the Midwest receiving many choreography awards and accepting a position at River Cities All Stars. During his time at RC he won multiple UCA all star national titles with mini, jr, &sr age children
In 2004 he moved to VA to work for All Star Legacy. Here he won countless choreography awards. While at Legacy he lead his jr 5 to multiple top 10 finishes at worlds and coached large limited coed and the small all girl.
Currently at ACX coaching Tiny Queens, Crazy Jags, Purple Haze, & Kat Daddies he continues to grow. Receiving best choreography @NCA in coed 4, winning Cheersport, Summit,& multiple NCA titles. His many list of accomplishments only push him to continue to grow and motivate him to be better than the previous year.
Patrick Smith – Pittsburgh, PA
Patrick has over 14 years of coaching experience within the cheer industry. Most recently he worked with Rockstar Cheer coaching teams varying from Level 1 to 5 and now he is currently coaching at Pittsburgh Pride. Patrick was the founder and creator of Reign Cheer Camps that offered full services in cheer for skills and choreography for all ages. Pat holds four Universal Cheerleading Association National Championship titles. One with Morehead State and three with University of West Georgia, defeating Coach Kathy (while she was at Slippery Rock) three years in a row. Patrick is by far one of the country’s best stunt and pyramid specialists.
Carlos Realpe – Naples, FL
Carlos is originally from California. He cheered on California Allstars Coed, Gymtyme All Stars and at the University of Louisville. He has won 3 world titles and brings a great deal of knowledge of how to be successful in levels 1-5 coming from such prestigious and well trained programs.
Carlos owns Rockstar Cheer in Naples, Florida, where he choreographs all of his own teams. He has a beautiful wife and three adorable children.
His choreography background is extensive. The innovation and “outside the box” thinking has brought Carlos’ clients much success, including summit bids, and numerous of wins!
Amber Bradberry – Columbia, SC
Amber began competitive cheer and dance at the age of 8 in Atlanta, GA and has was a member of the world ranked Cheer Dynamix/ Move Dance Company since its origin. She has competed nationally on pom, hip-hop, and jazz teams while also cheering competitive Allstars for for Cheer Dynamix on their Level 4 team. Amber has studied cheer and dance extensively in New York and LA from various instructors such as; Brian Friedman, Frank Hatchett, Savion Glover and Chio, while also performing in an Off-Broadway performance choreographed by Brian Friedman. She choreographed for the indoor area football cheer team, the Tulsa talons and has done choreography for all-star and high school teams all over the country as well as in Canada and England. Amber was chosen by Eric Little to staff for USA camps that he did choreography for in California right out of high school. She attended the University of Missouri where she was a cheerleader for the Tigers and competed with them at NCA college nationals. After college, Amber was the Allstar director and coached Allstars and choreographed for Twist & Shout in Tulsa where she was also a member of the international all girl level 6 team, twist & shout passion. She won NCA and took third at worlds with this team. Amber then moved to Greenville South Carolina to coach at Rockstar Cheer. She was the dance director and coached and choreographed many of the Allstars teams including The Beatles. Last year, Amber moved to Columbia, SC to help open Rockstar Cheer Columbia and be the Allstars director. In their first season, she lead the program to a cheersport national championship and at the end of the season they were named D2 Summit champions. Amber continues to work for Rockstar and travels each summer to choreograph and work with all-star programs around the country.
Andrew “AJ” Brawn is a jersey boy. He is the owner of Pivotal Training, Home of ACX Diamonds in NJ, which is a strength & conditioning and cheerleading facility. Previously, he worked at Henderson’s gymnastics, Comet All-Stars, and South Jersey Storm. AJ has been teaching tumbling/gymnastics for over 15 years. AJ was a bronze medalist at Worlds on an international level 6 team. With a heavy background in strength and conditioning, AJ brings a unique and fresh approach to tumbling. AJ has experience coaching many athletes from beginner to advanced and flourishes in a teaching environment. AJ travels the country doing tumbling camps.
Juba has been involved in competitive cheerleading as a Tumbling Specialist for the past 15 years. During that time, he has worked with many successful All-Star programs across the nation as a Tumbling Consultant and Clinician, and served as Tumbling Director to many teams in the Maryland, DC and Virginia area. Juba directed the Tumbling Program for Maryland Twisters for two years before Joining the Maryland Marlins. In his first year with the program, Marlin’s level 5 team won a full-paid bid to worlds, something they had never done in the history of their program. Under Juba’s tumbling direction, Maryland Marlins went on to receive 4 more full-paid bids to Cheer Worlds.
In 2013 Juba opened his own gym, developing a solid group of level 5 athletes and received a bid to worlds in his first year as a program owner and coach. His program has gone on to receive a bid to Worlds every year since his opening. His success in Cheerleading stems from his strong background and success in gymnastics, both as an athlete and gymnastics coach stretching 30 years. As a gymnast, he ranked top 20 in the nation and experienced full- spread features in the Baltimore Sun and television spotlights for his talent in the sport. Juba later carried that success into his gymnastics coaching career where he was quickly promoted to Head Coach for the men’s optional team, at Fairland Gymnastics in Laurel Md.
Juba currently works under Kelli Hill, at Hills Gymnastics in Gaithersburg. Kelli Hill, who has been Inducted into the Gymnastics Hall and of Fame, is known for training 3-Time Olympian Dominique Dawes, 2000 Olympian Elise Ray and 2004 Olympian Courtney Kupets. At Hills, Juba can be seen working with athletes of all ages and levels, including their elite gymnasts.
Juba’s notable success and knowledge of tumbling can be seen through his daughter Azaraya whom he started training at the age of 5. By 9, she is one of the strongest gymnastic tumblers for her age in the country, and was invited to train at the National Developmental Invite Camp at the Olympic Training Center formally known as the Karolyi Ranch in Texas. She currently travels to Texas every month to train at the US Olympic Gymnastics Training Center as part of the National Development Program.
Juba’s passion and love for tumbling gives him the drive to perfect the skill and learn how to apply it to athletes of all learning styles. His ability to focus of form and technique, critical in gymnastics, and apply it in the fast-paced sport of cheerleading gives him the critical edge to make cheerleaders excel. His charismatic style of coaching and thinking outside the box mentality gives him the edge and allows him continued success at every program he has worked in, in both Gymnastics and All Star Cheerleading.
