Bettis Richardson

Premier Level Choreographer

Los Angeles, CA

Bettis joins Spirit FX coming from a diverse background of an all-around performer known for his soaring falsetto, fun dance moves, powerful yet natural stage presence, and infectious positive energy. That is all paired with an indubitably warm and bright smile and a personality as energetic as he looks.

Before making his Broadway debut with the original cast of Bring It On: The Musical, his first television appearance was as a Top 32 finalist on the hit competition show “American Idol” (Season 2). As an actor/dancer, he’s had the pleasure of playing small roles and making appearances in a multitude of music videos, movies, video games, and various television shows and has even co-hosted an LA Talk Radio show. Bettis enjoys touring and has performed in numerous countries along with guest entertaining on cruise ships. Most recently he started a Prince Tribute band that is providing an amazing experience to audiences everywhere. As a result of his experience in the entertainment industry, he brings value to movement and choreography that others in the industry simply cannot. In addition to performing; he choreographs, judges, and possesses an enormous passion for coaching. In 2007, Bettis was Top Gun Miami’s in-house choreographer for one full season, grooming and assisting some of their current coaches and choreographers. He has since been working with various teams across the country providing high energy and award-winning routines.

It is his belief that as a coach and a choreographer it is his duty to share his love, passion, experiences, and expertise. The master learns from the pupil just as the student learns from the teacher. Working together in harmony to create magic is everything. Whether it be the best athletic vessel, the most entertaining routine possible, or the most memorable experience.
