Patrick Smith is one of the head Spirit FX stunt and pyramid specialists. He also composes some of the best stunt/basket technique camps in the industry. Patrick is co-owner of ICE Pittsburgh and ICE Wheeling but travels all over the country to choreograph for many gyms that have been successful in achieving world and summit bids.
Patrick’s 19 years of all-star experience has led to him having a keen eye to the technical side of stunting. He is best known for making elite and innovative stunt and pyramid sections look effortless. He began his cheer experience in college. He cheered and won several UCA college national titles at Morehead State University and The State University of West Georgia. Patrick was the owner of Reign Cheer Camps before they combined with Spirit FX. Reign cheer camps was known for producing some of the most creative pyramid and stunting choreography in the industry.
Patrick’s beliefs and philosophies as a coach and choreographer are about pushing the difficulty and creativity to the highest level possible all while keeping the product sharp and clean. Patrick’s stunt and basket drills are much different than the average stunt camp. He prides himself on being able to break down any elite skill through drills.
